OUR COMMUNITY

In 1997, we were approached by the Sheffield Library (Bushnell-Sage Library). We worked closely with then library director, Nancy Hahn as we volunteered our services to develop a fully comprehensive landscape design for the newly renovated building. We created beautiful and functional paver walkways while upgrading the curb appeal and aesthetics of the building with some specimen tree installs.

In 2002, we were part of a large collaboration of local contractors and landscapers who volunteered our services to landscape the newly established Berkshire South Regional Community Center in Great Barrington. Berkshire South continues to benefit our community with its amazing programs and services.

In 2016, Mount Everett Regional School in Sheffield asked us about a dedication to  high school technology teacher Paul O'Brien. We developed a comprehensive design and constructed a beautiful outdoor classroom space complete with a paver patio, raised seating walls, and simple plantings for the students to enjoy during the warmer months.

After the renovation of the Sheffield Town Hall parking lot, we were approached by Catherine Miller about volunteering our services. We worked closely with her to landscape the parking islands and installation of memorial brick pavers. We also  installed specimen trees in the islands and constructed multiple paver surfaces, which were inscribed with the names of the Sheffield residents who so kindly donated.

We often make donations and deliveries of bark mulch to Old Parish Church in Sheffield. 

We are a proud sponsor of Miles and Smiles for Hadley, a running road race to raise awareness and funds for children with Down Syndrome. Proceeds help our local schools source and purchase much-needed educational aids and other supplies. 

We are happy sponsors of the Berkshire Rattlers Jimmy Welch Tournament that supports local youth hockey. Jimmy played an instrumental role in the Berkshire Rattlers program. He was a player, coach, scheduler, and friend to the community.
